One of my favorite things

I realized that one of my favorite things to do is make people, especially females, feel beautiful. I go about this in multiple ways- Flowers, comments both on blogs and myspaces and, give hugs, telling them outright, and whistling. One thing that I have become known for is whistling at my girl friends and my girlfriend. I whistle or throw a "bow chica bow wow" out in their direction when they are walking by. My favorite is when they are looking especially good, like tonight at banquet, I whistle and give em' and eye brow raise or two. They deserve to hear that they are beautiful because every one of them is. Whether they are beautiful because they are my friends or they are my friends cause they are beautiful makes no difference. The only thing that matter is that they know to at least one person they are beautiful no matter what. So here's to all my beautiful friends and family out there, "whit woooo!!!" :-)

my internship

Wednesday afternoons from 1-4 I work with Lincoln Water Systems on their Pandemic Flu Plan. I have to figure out how to shelter 30 people in a building for 30 days. It is exciting and crappy at the same time. I can't even count the number of times my supervisor has used the phrase "uncharted territory" with this project. Today I spent most of the afternoon searching Sam's Club's website for personal hygiene items. Just personal items cost about $400. I haven't even touched on food. Oy vey. On the random topic of MREs they have a self life of 130 months at 60 degrees F and there are 24 different varieties. Sadly only 4 or 6 are vegetarian, oh well. This project is very daunting and thankfully I have next semester to keep working on it.

What my Bonnie is capable of

A while back, like May, my brother-in-law told me that Pontiac took my body style Bonneville and made it go 200 mph. This blew me away cause most cars ripping around at 200 mph are not family sedan "granny" cars. All summer I wanted to look up what they did to my car to make it break 200 and finally I found it. My personal car will never reach a speed close to that but it makes me happy to know what lies within my beautiful car. For the full story check out Popular Mechanic's site. Happy reading.

Reprise rebuttle

A while back I made the comment that all I wanted for Christmas was a waterproof camera. I am making a change to that. As much as it might be nice to have a waterproof camera, the need is not as pressing. Since I am not going to Venezuela, the places I will visit any time soon need not a waterproof camera. So what does this mean to any of you? If you were planning on pooling your money for the camera, you don't have to. I mean if you still want to pool your money and get me a camera, more power to ya but you don't have to. Any who, sorry mom for shooting your christmas present plan, if that was your plan. I'm not sure what exactly I want for christmas, I know it is still a ways off. Give me options and I'll give you answers. tootles

Catching up

Okay so it has been a couple weeks since I last blogged. I am very delinquent, my apologies to my faithful checkers. Most of you know what my announcement is but some do not. My degree has now changed to General Studies in IRR, Business, and Religion. Amy gave me a hard time for following in her footsteps. The greatest thing about this degree change is- I am not stressed out any more. Yeah I have papers and tests and what not but I don't have to worry about Venezuela or Firefighter 1. I can just focus on the stuff I have to do and get it done. It helps that I now have two nights a week to my own instead of none. Any who, it is break and there might be more postings shortly cause I have time. TTFN
